Availability
Due to a severe storm in Brienz, the tracks of the Brienz Rothorn Railway have been damaged. The Brienz Rothorn «Steam Chain» combined ticket will not be available again until the 2025 season.

- This combined ticket offer does not include a seat guarantee on the Brienz Rothorn Railway. You can book your seat guarantee directly with the Brienz Rothorn Railway for an additional charge. You can find more information here. In order to guarantee the execution of the journey, please book your seat guarantee with the Rothorn-Bahn before you buy the combined ticket.

Travel relaxed by train to Interlaken Ost. From Interlaken Ost railway station it is a 4-minute walk to the Interlaken Ost boat station. The boat station is opposite the station.

Frequently asked questions
Where can I buy tickets?
In spring, summer and autumn, all tickets and combination tickets are available on our boats and at the stations in Thun, Spiez, Interlaken West and Interlaken Ost as well as Brienz. During the winter months the stations remain closed. On Lake Brienz, navigation is suspended during the winter.

Do the boats operate all year?
Our boats travel all year on Lake Thun. We do not operate our cruises on Lake Brienz during the winter months.
